Challenging night at Rockford Speedway last night. We fought carburetor issues all week. Had to swap out the carburetor at the track. Qualified third but had way too much rpm. Had to swap out the rear gear to get that rpm down. Then had to drop out of the heat race before taking the green flag due to a major clutch issue. Got fixed up for the feature race and fought our way through the field and battled some very experienced racers on Rockford’s high banks to finish third. Happy with the results and the speed considering all the circumstances. Congrats to Jamie Domski and Alex Ertmann on their wins.
