Sorry for the late post. We raced at Anderson Speedway on Saturday and had another decent day. We were fastest in both practices and qualified first yet again! We ended up winning the heat race for the fourth week in a row! Come feature time, we started 4th in the outside lane. After 3 laps, we worked our way up to second place and were chasing down the 13 car of Jamie Domski. The 13 car did a very impressive job of keeping us behind him. We were part of a very intense and fun race as we were poking high and low in attempt to get by the 13 of Jamie Domski. Eventually, we got past him going through lap traffic. Unfortunately, our lead did not last very long. We raced through more lap traffic which allowed me to make a mistake which in turn, also allowed the 13 car to poke on the inside of me. The last three laps of the race were the most nerve-racking laps of the season. We raced side by side with the 13 car for the last three laps as I tried to beat the 13 car on the outside. Coming to the checkered flag, Jamie inched us out for the win. Although we did not pick up a win and finished second, this was the most fun I’ve ever had in a super cup race car.
