I apologize for the late update. This past Saturday night at Grundy County Speedway had some major highs and lows.
We qualified a 16.3, which was the fastest we’ve gotten this car to go so far this year. This put us on the pole in the fast heat.

For the heat race, we were racing hard for the lead and got tangled up with the car outside of us. I brought the car back in the pits after suffering some pretty decent damage and a flat tire. Thanks to Matt Clemens, Clemens Racing, my dad, my Uncle Keith, John Brolick, and Cheryl Hryn, we got the car back together just enough to survive the rest of the heat. We ended up 5th out of 10 in the heat race.

For the feature, we had good speed yet again, but just got freight-trained on the high side early on in the race. We ended up 9th out of 20!

Huge thank you again to Matt Clemens, Clemens Racing, my dad, and my Uncle Keith for all their help throughout the day! The car took some damage and we were able to turn a seemingly rough night into a good one. We had another solid points night and we are excited to get back out there this Friday!
