Another extremely frustrating night for us. We’ve found incredible speed these last few weeks and luck just hasn’t been on our side.

We started the day with rear brakes locking up on us and that was an issue that plagued us all day. We finished 4th place in the heat race with our rear brakes essentially on fire.

The Clemens Racing team busted their behinds to get it sorted out for the feature. Unfortunately, our feature race ended up with me being towed off the track after getting destroyed in two other drivers’ mess. Not sure why a banned driver is back out there contributing to the existing chaos, but it is what it is.

It’s frustrating seeing all the work Matt Clemens, Clemens Racing, and Bill’s Speed Shop put into this car for it to be ruined by nonsense every week.

I’m very angry to say the least. I’ll leave my rant at that.

Despite our misfortune, I’m so incredibly grateful for Matt, Dan, John, Mr. Clemens, Mrs. Clemens, and my dad who have continued to work through the adversity and continue to give me a good car every week. We still put down decent times yesterday even with everything that went sideways for us.
We were top 5 in points and we’re going to keep persevering until the end of the season. We have a lot of work to do again but we’ll be back next week. Watch out everyone
