Top 5 finish in the feature! Solid way to kick off the season!

We ran pretty decent times all day through practice and qualified a 16.3 in qualifying. This put us 4th in the heat race, where we went on to finish 5th. We started on the pole for the feature out of 21 cars and stayed in top 3 for the first half of the race after a few restarts. The last few laps of the race were chaotic. Fortunately, we avoided most of the chaos and went on to finish 5th. We have some decent speed in the 43 machine so we’ll keep working at it.

Thank you to Clemens Racing and my dad for all their help as usual! Matt probably had one of the fastest cars out there even after driving with his hood up.
