Our first race in the legends car is in the books! After turning some laps at Jefferson Speedway Friday evening, we decided to race Saturday. We ended up missing the first two practices after waiting in a long pit gate line. In the practice session we did make, I turned fairly decent lap times. I qualified 16th out of 24 cars, which put me in the B main event. Since we were one of the faster cars in the B main event, we were inverted to the rear. After 12 laps, I worked my way up to 5th, missing the transfer spot to the A main feature event by one spot. Overall, I’d say our first night went better than expected. We definitely have the right pieces, and with some additional seat time, I think we’ll continue to get faster and faster. Thank you to all my sponsors!
