This Saturday we ran our 3rd race of the season Dells Raceway Park.  There was a pretty stout group of cars on the entry list since this race was being televised on LegendsNation.com TV.
We rolled out for first practice and the car felt wrong. Second practice, we scrambled to make some adjustments and got the car a bit better. Come qualifying, Gary Eisenhower Jr of NDE Racing made an adjustment that made the car much better as the track tightened up. We didn’t qualify well, but found a bit more speed than last week and ran pretty consistent lap times. We were 3rd fastest in our heat race I believe and also ran our fastest lap time of the year during that race. Unfortunately, with a 31 car field, we were forced to run a B main. We started 10th of 15 cars and worked out way up to 7th just missing the transfer spot to the A main yet again. Missing the A main race may have been a blessing in disguise since over half the field wrecked out in some gnarly crashes.
Overall, we’re happy with the speed we’re continuing to find. We plan on making a few more adjustments for Jefferson Speedway this Saturday and we’ll see how we stack up there!
