We had our 2nd race at Grundy last night and it was a pretty good night! We showed decent speed all day and I felt a lot more comfortable in the car. I battled pretty hard in the heat race after starting on the pole and felt like I had the speed to pull of a heat race win until I was put three wide on lap 3. I lost a few spots after getting driven up the track by the same car who made it 3 wide but I’ll keep that in mind moving forward in case that driver decides to try that again. Ended up p4 in the heat.

Come feature time, we started last and the car was absolutely hooked up for the first half of the race after a few setup changes implemented by Matt Clemens and Clemens Racing. A couple of mid-race accidents threw quite a bit of dirt and rocks on the track which made it a bit more difficult to drive out of turn 2. We made it through each of those accidents and kept the car in one piece. We ended up p10 in the feature! I was able to hang with the pack even better than last week so we’re definitely moving in the right direction!

Thank you to Matt Clemens, Clemens Racing, and my dad for all their help as usual! Thank you to John for spotting for me and providing me with detailed info throughout the race! It was extremely helpful hearing things from his perspective throughout the race.

Huge thank you to:
