Huge Thank You to European Chalet Banquets

As Thanksgiving approaches, K5 Motorsports would like to highlight some of the things we are thankful for. First, we’d like to extend a huge thank you to European Chalet Banquets for supporting my racing career all these years! Keep your eye out for their Thanksgiving menu by the end of the day Monday! I know

Fantastic Time with Local Primary Sponsors

We had a fantastic time representing our two local primary sponsors Coler Chiropractic and European Chalet Banquets at the Midway Chamber of Commerce Pumpkin Jamboree Parade. Dr. Coler walked with us and didn’t fly once despite his Superman cape! Also thanks to Killdare Haunted City for their support this year.

K5 Motorsports adds a new ride to the stable

K5 Motorsports has added another ride to the stable! As of now, the 2023 plan is to focus on competing in the Mid-Am Racing Series presented by Wilkins Rebuilders Supply primarily while running occasionally at the Grundy County Speedway when time permits. Stayed tuned for more racing updates throughout the offseason!

2022 – Year of Progress

Somewhat bitter end to the year, but I could not be more proud of the strides we made as a team this year. The amount of progress we made in one short year is something to be proud of. I can’t thank Matt, Clemens Racing, my dad, and everyone else who helps out enough for

Solid Night of Racing

Solid night for us at the Grundy County Speedway. We qualified pretty decent which put us on the pole for the feature. For the heat race, we started 5th and worked our way up to 3rd. We had the speed to win, just didn’t have the time to finish it off. For the feature, we

Our First Ever Double Duty Night

Very busy night for us at the Grundy County Speedway this past Friday night. We attempted our first ever double duty night between the Super Cup and the Mid Am. We got the super cup pretty quick but didn’t have enough time throughout the day to make the other changes we wanted. The car was

Started the day 5th fastest in practice

8/5 Recap: We started the day 5th fastest in practice and were happy with the car. We sat out second practice for that reason. We qualified a 16.39 which put us on the last row in the first heat race and on the pole for the feature. We finished 2nd in our heat race but

Just missed a Top 5 finish

Just missed a top 5 finish this past Friday for the Jake Bradley Memorial. Before we could even make a lap at speed during practice, our fuel pump took a crap on us. We also ended up replacing a broken control arm. Therefore, we missed both practices. We went into qualifying not exactly sure of

Nice Rebound from last week

7/22 Recap:  I apologize for the late post, but here’s how our most recent Friday night went: We started off the day 6th in practice and went on to qualify 7th. We started on the pole for the fast heat and I truly believe we would have won if the race remained green after the
